Problem

Scientific Programming Lab: integrate the Earth-Moon system numerically, and work through the Theia hypothesis, according to which the Moon formed from a collision between the young Earth and a protoplanet.

Solution

The simulation lives in its own modules (collision, data, visualisation) with test coverage, the evaluation in a notebook. Two scripts produce the data, the notebook draws the orbits from it.
